Specialist Solutions

One of our core beliefs is that a security system should be a seamless part of a buildings infrastructure, making it easy to use

We understand that no two clients are the same, and so we aim to tailor our systems based on the unique requirements for each site.

Integrations

An easy to manage system often encompasses all aspects of a buildings security, from CCTV to Access Control, including Intruder Detection. More and more we see a need for these individual components to communicate with one another to provide high quality coverage of an area, or additional details for screening. By using a wide range of tools such as APIs and hard-wired solutions, almost any collection of systems can come together to provide a smooth end user experience.

Custom Made Parts

Unique building designs ask for unique security solutions. By providing made to fit 3D printed parts and taking advantage of the wide variety of parts from our suppliers, we aim to match the aesthetics of any building without compromising on security. While this could be seen as a limitation by some, we find our horizons have broadened by rising to this challenge.

Remote locations

Many environments don’t lend themselves to easy installation of security systems. However if the need arises, a combination of wireless and standalone technologies can solve these problems and provide the coverage you need, and extend existing systems to perimeter of your site.

From small adjustments to custom made parts, we welcome all requests from our customers for a specialist solution.

An access control system is an electronic locking device that secures a door, and grants access to approved people using a range of credentials, from PIN to swipe card or fingerprint. Doors can automatically become unlocked during certain hours and relocked again based on time or other criteria.

There are several benefits of using an access control system, including:

  • Enhanced security: Access control systems restrict unauthorized entry, which helps prevent theft, vandalism, and other security breaches.
  • Improved safety: Access control systems can prevent unauthorized people from entering potentially hazardous areas.
  • Increased accountability: Access control systems can track who enters and exits a location or network, which helps to hold people accountable for their actions.
  • Convenience: Access control systems can eliminate the need for keys, which can be lost or stolen, and provide a more convenient way to manage access.
  • Scalability: Access control systems can be easily expanded to accommodate changing security needs.

There are several types of access control systems available, including:

  • Physical access control systems (PACS): PACS use physical barriers such as doors, gates, or turnstiles to restrict access.
  • Logical access control systems (LACS): LACS restrict access to a computer network or system.
  • Biometric access control systems: Biometric systems use unique physical characteristics such as fingerprints, facial recognition, or iris scans to authenticate users.
  • Proximity access control systems: Proximity systems use smart cards or key fobs that can be swiped or waved near a reader to grant access.
  • Multi-factor authentication systems: Multi-factor systems require users to provide two or more authentication factors, such as a password and a fingerprint scan, to gain access.

Choosing the right access control system can be difficult and can depend on a large range of factors. Our experienced team are able to provide recommendations for this and go through various scenarios to ensure the system you get meets all of your needs.

Yes, many access control systems can be integrated with other security systems such as video surveillance, intrusion detection, and fire alarms. Integration can provide a more comprehensive security solution, allowing you to monitor and manage multiple security systems from a single platform.
